A very warm welcome to our William Rhodes website. We are proud of our busy, friendly school and our families who make up our wonderful community. As a team, we ensure that all children are valued, nurtured and cared for so that they can achieve their full potential and be happy in school.
At William Rhodes, we hold high expectations for our children’s behavior, academic performance, and respect for others. Our goal is to nurture well-rounded individuals who embrace equality and diversity, ensuring they are ready, respectful, and safe at all times. We foster a supportive partnership between parents and the school to create a safe and happy environment where children can thrive academically.
Through our weekly celebration assemblies, we highlight the achievements of our students and promote a sense of community. If you have any questions or would like to visit, feel free to contact us.
We are proud members of the Embark Federation, working together to instill our values of Family, Integrity, Teamwork, and Success, while encouraging everyone to ‘Love Learning, Love Life’.

We show that we are ready to learn by coming to school in the correct uniform, bringing the correct equipment and a curious, open mind. In class, we show good listening by sitting comfortably and still and showing the person who is speaking that we are paying attention. We take turns with our partners and share our feedback, learning from each other.
Respectful relationships with everyone in our community are at the heart of all we do at William Rhodes. We know a little kindness can go a long way and welcome everyone into our school family, treating them in the way we would like to be treated.
Safety underpins our policies, processes and culture in school: our aim is for all children to feel safe to be themselves and have adults in school who they trust to champion them. Bullying, in any forms, is not tolerated here.
